if you're getting alignment I'll tell you what I tell everyone else...

go to a local firestone...
get the lifetime warranty
at only $130-160 (depending on the specials they're running) it's a STEAL.
you can get it aligned as often as you like.

alignment at most dealerships costs $90. any other place charges at least $60. Just get it once and don't think about it again. Firestone does good work.

Is Firestone good for lowered cars? My dealership has new "high-tech" equip with those sensors that clamp between tire and rim and use infrared to beam the measurements to the computer.

Problem is that my 235/45/17s on stock '03s were too tight (even after deflating them) to fit on the sensors. Is Firestone or any other place use diff. technology that might work for me?

my firestone did mine perfectly fine and they were on 225/45/17s... I don't know if the 235s will cause too much of a problem. Bring them to a firestone and have them look at it. They all generally use the same equipment.
