Air Conditioning Question
Well the weather is starting to turn nice around here and I turned on the A/C today in the car. It was on Auto at 68 degrees and I noticed it was just blowing air that was not cool, so I hit the A/C OFF switch and cool air came out. Turn to A/C ON and no cool air, any one have a clue what this mix-up could be about
I'm hoping it is simple user error
Thanks,
Nate

On A/C off you were getting outside air that fealt cool because it was; with the A/C on you told it to give you 68 degree cabin temperature so it did- if the temp inside the car was below that the system had to add heat to give you what it did- which was de-humidified warm air. Wait for the cabin to get really warm and then hit A/C again, it should blow cool air. Just my best guess but I could be wrong.

Worked for me on a +40 degree morning ... had the A/C on by accident and noticed that it was warming me up...
The cold and hot air get mixed together -- great for clearing mist/fog off the inside of the windscreen...
One note, until the engine coolant comes up to temp, it can get a bit cold…
If I hadn't had the temp at 65, I would have turned into a Popsicle
