Air Con Evaporator cleaning

Clean air cont...Yahoo had it on front page today.

Anyone ever clean out their cars Air Con Evaporator? If so any tips?
Said to be step one in getting the cars inside air cleaned. BTW this sites step 3 says the more expensive HEPA filters are the way to go. Allege much better then carbon only and paper only.

Step 1 of 3

From the website: http://www.gaftech.com/carcabin/index.htm See "Air Con Maintainance" and icon "chemical cleaning", also Air Cleaning Devices.

I've replaced the filters. That's about it. Here are some instructions if you're interested....

Great, for cleaning the outside radiator/air condensor with simple green I am "there". Gracias.

As for the inside air moldie oldies and odors origin spot, that being the evaporator that the link showed (See picture and instructions in Step 1):

http://www.gaftech.com/carcabin/images/aircon_fa.pdf
"Cleaning the evaporator only eliminates the source of the odour."

1. What would be an excellent cleaner for the evaporator/inside air system in our CLS's? (Not simple green obviously unless one is a tree hugger and are prepared to possibly choke and die from the fumage)

2. I realize instructions would probably come with any kit i bought, however is spraying at one and only one intake point going to work, or does one need to spray the cleaning solution at several points across the intake "holes/squares at the grills of the outside vent area?
