very sweet ride N beautiful color.
One question I have is this.
I drove a similar platform as a loaner for a week but it was a auto (2010 TL SH AWD) and in my opinion it is a very tamed luxury car, i enjoyed the very smooth shifts and the suspension but For some reason I felt like it lacked power even though the power was there it felt like the car had to think for a few secs before it takes off during sudden acceleration (steppin on it) when I compared it to my CL-s 5 speed.
By the 5th day of driving the TL sH awd my buttdyno felt like my CL was a lil faster
would u agree with me ?
i also did not like or enjoy the transition of the Paddle Shifter during acceleration but everything else was perfect.

These were the last pictures I took of it Labor Day weekend '08

But I won't be leaving the Azine community. This is what I picked up last Tuesday night (sorry for the crappy pics ... haven't properly preped for my first coats of Zaino yet)

and yes ... it's a 6-speed.

When I saw the seller re-selling it on ebay with those painted rims, I almost puked. I don't know what the fascinastion is with black wheels anyway (must be a generational thing), but what he did to it looked like shit imo.

If you're interested, I still have the stock 17's that I used to run during the winter. I ran something in the blackmarket this past winter, but got no takers. I'd be willing to bring the price down a little if you're interested. Here's the thread:

https://acurazine.com/forums/car-parts-sale-361/03-type-s-wheels-dunlop-winter-sport-m3s-752391/

Also have the stock air sways, intake, struts/springs etc sitting around although I'll probably end up tossing them in a very short time.

Any quesitons about the car, don't hesitate to shoot an email my way.

Only thing I can comment on is my TL - as indicated at the bottom of the thread - is a 6-speed. I will say that the 09 TL loaners I drove probably experienced some of the same things you mention, and I'm sure theres a slew of thoughts on the TL forum on the subject, but suffice to say if the '10 did not come with the Manual, I wouldn't be driving one right now.

The car Runs Beautiful with all those miles but i have a little somthing up my sleeve. j32a2 stroked to 3.5. BTW BEAUTIFUL job on the sound system. Very good parts and very well put together.

The sound system wasn't done by him. It was done by the person who sold it to you.

The sound system was done by me. Don't profess to pass on information as fact when you don't know what you're talking about.

hahahaha right on man. I was hoping i'd come across the member who owned this car. I saw it a while back when it was for sale on autotrader too. Those wheels look like they were meant to be on there

Very sad to have just discovered that the old girl was recently gutted. She deserved a better fate than that.

This is how I'll remember her.

Damn, at least you got to treat it like it was meant to be treated for the amount of time you had it for before it got into the hands of a ricer.

Nice to see a set of Servos on a CL I was oh so close to getting a set of them back when RonJon had a sale (like $400 for a whole set, IIRC) but I had to keep some money in reserve for my timing belt service...

and that is one of the main reasons I'm trying to hold on to my car. It'd just be kinda heart-breaking to see someone beat up on the car I tried to keep in shape.

I would blame this on the fact that newer acuras haveDBW(drive by wire) throttles. These seem to cause the slight lag you speak of. I always preferred cable throttles and shifters like in the cl.
