I think they already got one for the regular CL (Accord V6), so I assume they will release the Type-S version soon. But I hear the gains from the Icebox are much better than with AEM.

I was told that they were not going to release a V2 version for the CLS/TLS (only CL/TL). Perhaps they changed their mind. I called them a while back...

YMMV

A lot of the accord guys are saying that the difference between that and a regular aem is not too noticeable, and not worth it to upgrade. It sounds roughly the same with more of a short ram/ufo hum at idle. The only time to get one of these is if you don't have an intake, if you have an intake already.

This is not what I have read/heard/seen. The V2 has over 10hp/tq gains in some spots over the V2 on the J30 engine. Many of the Accord guys are idiots and only look at peak numbers, where there is only 3hp gain or so. But if you look at the full dyno charts, there is a dip on the normal AEM intake that is not there with the V2. It smoothes out the curves a good deal. I plan to get a V2 for my 3.0CL. If I didn't think it was worth it, I wouldn't spend the extra $100

I heard the CLS intake is not long enough for the V2 tuning to work, and they could not get any significant gains out of it, hence why they may have decided not to make one. I think withoutcomp1 lost any gains over the standard intake as soon as he cut the length, with was tuned to the J30 engine. I've expressed this view before, noone seems to want to talk about it. I think it's a waste of $100 for the CLS.
