Is Aem V2 Intake Take Worth Buying

I Got A 01 Cl-s With Aem Cold Air Intake. I Was On Aem's Website And They Said The V2 Is Supposed To Be Better Than The Regular Cold Air They Sell. What I Want To Know Is The V2 Worth Trading In My Regular Aem Intake For. Is The V2 That Big Of A Difference Than There Regular One.

The V2 does not fit on the Type S. Either get the regular AEM, or an Icebox. Personally, I like the Icebox a lot more and I've had both. The AEM is too loud IMO, and the support stem is breakable. The Icebox is quieter, looks more stock, and easier to maintain.

AEM...vrooooooooooooooooooom

I'm biased...get what you think will suit you the best

I see a lot of members with Comptech with a K&N Cone filter.

Here and there...a few with AEM or Injen.

If your getting tired of your regular AEM, go comptech icebox. No complaint about mine.

you supposidly get a few more horses with the comptech opposed to other traditional CAIs. But if your looking for that sound then i say dont do the icebox b/c you wont get it.

Yeah the V2 is for CLP's only and it's shown to flow better with more gains
