AEM Shortram?
Hey first time posting on the site. I have a 3.2 CL P/custom grill/20% tints all around/ 2 ten inch JL audio
I want a nice increase the CL's sound but nothing so dramatic that the sound is annoying to me and other people. I dont want to deal with the hassle of the CAI and water since I live in PA. Is the AEM shortram a good alternative considering I want some more sound out of my car?

I have a shortram on my CL, and the sound it makes when vtec kicks in can be compared to an orchestra, but it can be loud at times. I would go with a cai with bypass if could do it all over though.

Is the ram air for the CL from AEM the same as an accord 98-02 V6? Can I use this setup on a CL type-S? I live in Miami. 2 feet puddles are part of my daily commute (no, matter where I am going).

Drifting
i live in the lehigh valley too Zubzy and have an aem cai with bypass valve. got it at auto addictions for a like $225 i think. sounds awesome, and you only hear it when you stomp on the gas, its quiet at other times. never had a problem with water. if you are driving in those 2 ft deep puddles, you will be floating away and your intake will be the least of your worries.
I live right by where musicfest is, right up the hill, i saw all the flooding down there from the storm last week.

I have the short ram and its only loud when you go WOT, which is basically only when you want it. I doubt there is a noticeable power difference between the short ram and the CAI. If your not looking to spend the extra money just go with the short ram i guarentee youl be happy. If your really worried about water lock, which is very very unlikely, i dont think the v2 can have a bypass so you can rule that out. Id say just get the short ram, ez install, cheap, good power, sounds good at WOT.
