AEM CAI for Six Speeder

I don't think I've seen this posted; if so, my apologies.

I was just looking at AEM's website and noted a separate part number (21-509) for the 2003 CL-S M/T CAI.

I could not find this part on Autocarparts. What other sources are there for AEM CAIs?

Has anyone installed this yet? I know that some have custom installed the previous model - has anyone tested the fit of the one specifically made for our car?

I tried to order it from Optauto, but they are out of stock.

http://www.optauto.com/webstore/prod...=yes&dept=1571

Anybody knows where else can I order it (in stock)??

Hmm...out of stock, or never produced (like the CT IceBox...)??

One would think that SOMEONE on this forum would have installed it by now if it actually existed.

Thanks for that link!

I don't think I stated the real point of this thread clearly. I'm asking about an intake specifically made for the six speed. No matter how little alteration is needed, I am not interested in putting parts on my car not made (or at least considered) for my car.

Injen does not make an intake for the six speeder. You have to modify the 2001-2 intake. Not interested.

As of today, I only am aware of two CAIs that are specifically made for the six speed CL-S -- the still-awaited Comptech Ice Box and the seemingly nonexistent AEM part number 21-509.

No guys, yall need to have your info updated.... AEM do make one for 2003 CLS 6spd... NO it's not that Auto coversion, but it is made for 6spd.... i have ordered one already. but they are still or barely finish production on that product..... if you need one, you gonna have to make the retailer to call AEM to order from them.... how do i know, cuz i am waiting for one for the 6spd..... and it is confirmed there are 3 different CAI for CL....... 1 for CLP, which is the same as Accord V6.... then the TypeS auto...... and 03 CLS 6spd!

Just mod it, thats all AEM is doing and you get it now. Do a search for the install instructions by me, took under 2 hours with the mod of the CAI.
