Adjusting headlights
Anyone know of the spec for how high off the ground the center of the beam should be when adjusting your headlights? I recently replaced mine and it seems like the beam is pointing a little high; I measured it on a wall 62 inches away from the headlight cover, and it was 26 inches off the ground. When I'm driving at night, it looks almost like it's at a comparable level to other vehicles' high beams. I just dont want to be blinding people as I pass them.

^^Pretty informative sight, but doesnt quite address what I'm trying to find - it's more of a generalized reference. One thing that did stand out was the fact that our bulbs' lives are shortened by cycling power too frequently (i.e. flash to pass) - specifically more than 3 times an hour. I dont know how they could arrive at a specific number, but regardless, it makes me wonder why Acura included the HID's on the "flash to pass" feature of the headlight lever. I noticed this the other night; it actually causes both the high beam and the HID to turn on. Doesnt make sense to use them both, especially with the expensive replacement cost of the HID bulb.

you know what else sucks the big one...if its night time and your car alarm goes off...your HIDs will flash everytime your horn honks
i think we should all get free HID's for that shit cause the life of the bulb is drastically reduced when that happens
