Acura Service feeding me a line of BS?

I'd love some advice please. I took my '01 CL-S for an oil change and they changed the oil and also found a few cracked engine mounts which they replace. When I went to pick it up, it was sputtering and stalling. This has NEVER happened on my car before. My car has had ZERO problems to date despite being 90000 miles now.

So this morning I get a call that the fuel pressure regulator failed and they need to put in a new one and also replace the computer. The extended warranty is covering it but I suspect they somehow screwed something up in the course of replacing the cracked engine mounts that caused the problems. I'm thinking this because I don't think its a coincidence that the fuel pressure regulator just happened to fail right after they worked on it. I didn't detect anything wrong before I bought it in for the oil change.

Now, they claim there is a technical service bulletin on this issue, but I couldn't find it. I'm afraid they screwed something up with my car, which as I said has never had a single issue before and are covering up whatever happened.

Has anyone heard of this bulletin? What do you think I should do?

Replace the "0" with "o" to get it to work.

You can probably get a lot more info if you use the Search option.

I'm going to read up on this. I just am annoyed because I've never had this issue before and it just happened to occur right after they did their service.

thanks Ravi!

The thing is that your car is at about 90K. It's going to start to break. It happens. The good thing is that it's covered by your extended warranty. Which dealership do you take it too?
