Acura OEM All Season Floor Mats

Winter is almost over (more snow tomorrow ) however i'm looking to by a set of all-season rubber floor mats and was wondering if those who bought the OEM ones from the dealer would recommend them?

I've read they're cut to fit perfectly and also use the stock pin to hold them in place. Looks like there gonna be $45-50. So should I buy Acura or are the other brands cheaper and just as good? Thanks.

A search only brought up one thread from Jan/01.

Oh, HELL YEA. They work GREAT.
I bought mine at the dealership back in the fall of 2000 and they still look great after a good scrubbing.

Go for it. I love mine. Only thing is they are only for front. I dont usually have people in the back of my car but it would have been nice to get them. Oh and they only come in black as I was told.

I heard the weather tech mats are the best all-seasons. They even match the mat color to the interior (acura is only black).

Cost about $90 shipped for front and rears

If there was 1 OEM purchase I'd do all over again, the rubber floor mats would be it. Too bad we dont have an option to sell back our OEM mats since the rubber mats are all I need.

I was wanting to buy some black carpet floormats since I like the look better with my tan interior, and the black console and dash.
so I ordered some from Acura Carland, my dealer wanted $185, rip off. We don't need all weather ones here in TX.

well if anyone want to save some $$$ you can go to walmart and they have universal sized thick rubber floor mats. i think i paid for 30 bucks for the 2 for the front and 2 for the rear...

oh and they work great too!

We can get you the Acura mats you have in your pic for $49 shipped....

That is about the going price for the Acura mats. You could always get generic ones for a little less....

The Acura all season mats are great.... They look good enough to keep them on all year.

Had Weathertechs on my Integra, quality is about the same, but the Acura ones are much easier to clean and are a perfect fit.

I got mine from Tim at ACP some time ago, under $50 IIRC.

I think the dealer wanted $100 bucks for the all season mats

Juniorbean has the best price on the Acura all season mats that I've seen (I bought mine somewhere else and they were a tad more expensive).

WeatherTech is another solution if you don't want the mats in black.

Per Acura.com the MSRP is 49-dollars even.
If you want them, print this out and take it to your dealer.

I only paid like 45-bucks for mine because I get 10% off all parts at the dealership.

This reminds me....does anyone else have trouble with the clip for the driver's side floor mat staying in the "hole in the floor"? I've had this in to the dealer a countless number of times and it has always popped out (little yellow rectangle, screw, clip and all) by the time I'm home. I'd like to hear what you do to keep a clip down there.

Thanks!

On my 2001 CL the mat stayed in place but the "stud" kept pulling out of the floor. I wrapped some Teflon pipe tape around the threads and it held fine after that.

The 2003 one hasn’t come loose yet.
Whatever the problem was they must have fixed it.
