Acura MDX vs Nissan Murano
I'm in the market for an SUV for my wife. I'm strongly considering the MDX...as the interior reminds me of my CL-TYPE S...plus it has 265 hp and Acura's reliability record. I've owned Acuras since 1986 and have been a loyal Acura/Honda owner...so it is hard for me to stray from a known good thing. My wife likes the MDX but found the Nissan Murano more appealing. It has a lot of features for the dollar and more style. Since the MDX has been around now for 5 years, I would assume it will be redesigned soon. Plus, there is talk about adding the RDX to the Acura lineup. But we are in the market now for a new SUV. I've never owned a Nissan.....so if anyone has some input about the company or specifically the Murano it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

I like the styling and performance of the Nissan's out there, but don't like their reliability. Our family has had 2 Pathfinders, 1 Maxima, and my brother currently has an Infiniti G35 sedan. After 6 or 7 years, things tend to break. I would suggest to stick to the MDX....unless the Murano is way cheaper.

I like the MDX way more in my opinion. With the 8 inch factory Boss Subwoofer in your trunk and plus it has more trunk space for extra passengers or even other stuff you need to put in.

The MDX is a totally different vehicle by comparison and has a 'minivan-like' nature to it (read: Odyssey), which is not a bad thing IMHO. If I needed comfortable room for 7 (or 5 and good luggage space) with GREAT equipment pkg, it'd be my first choice.
