Does anyone know a reliable dealer or mechanic that installs Comptech upgrades in OC?

Also, if I install the parts myself (considering headers, CAI, sway/strut bars), does that void my warranty, or do they need to be installed by a certified Acura mechanic?

South Coast Acura is pretty good about installing Comptech mods. Any other brand they'll just tell you to take it elsewhere. I believe a member here TopGum had his CT S/C installed at this dealership if I remember correctly.

Parts do no have to be installed by a certified Acura mechanic. The Magnuson Moss Acts says the dealer can't void you warrenty due to aftermarket parts, unless they can prove that that specific part caused the problem.

Some dealers will be more cooperative though if something does fail if they have installed the parts though. Depends on the dealer.

Tustin Acura installs only Comptech parts. For parts of other aftermarket companies, they will also install but if the parts happen not to fit your car, you still have to pay for the installation.

Installed aftermarket part won't void your warranty unless the dealer can prove the aftermarket part is the one causing the problem.

i believe downey acura installs injen and AEM parts as well. (not in OC tho)
