Acura CL toys ??
Hey there Folks,
Silly question, but I guess that someone has to ask.
Are there any Acura CL toys (scale models) out there ??
I was at my local Walmart and saw that Johnny Lighting has the RSX in the import tuner series and Maisto has a RSX in its power toys series (or something like that), but no CL toys.
I tried using the Forum search function (toy), but got to many results.
Thanks in advance,

yeah I've been looking for mini models too... think about this though... they can barelys sell the life size CL's in the market right now so making toys that don't sell would be a waste

I'm pretty sure the toys are made based on what looks good to a child and/or adult and what the toy manufacturer can agree to with the car manufacturer.
I'm almost 100% sure it has nothing to do with actual car sales. Popularity would be a good word, meaning if the CL showed up in XXX movie, we might see a toy. There are more CLs on the roads than Modenas but there are Ferrari models....
I would buy a CL model too if I found one.

I want one for my desk, too. Preferably in anthracite, if not then I'll paint it

Popular as in they are in movies, tv shows, it's the typical car.
I bet you got people in there who sit around and simply agree on which cars to do; Acura CL just never come up. Maybe.
I bet a group buy from here would produce a model with one of those vendors.

I think there is no models so far because honestly we have rare cars. Before I researched for cars, I had never heard of the CL/TL/RSX/NSX before. A lot of people I know had not even heard of most of those. Of course, I had heard of the Integra, very popular car, and there is a model out there for that car. I know a 360 Modena may be rare in your neighborhood, but it is still well known, just like a Saturn!

Thanks guys, I had searched on the usual suspects on the web (ebay, etc.) and hadn't found any CL toys. I haven't seen any TL toys either, so with our cars being rarer then the TL, it makes sense that no toy maker produces 'em.
One of the reasons why I bought my CLS was because I don't see that many of them in my area (unlike the accord which are everywhere).
I like the idea of modding a accord to look like a CLS tho'.
Thanks,

At least you didn't suggest that I "downgrade" to a 03 Accord EX V6
