You need to inspect your car bumpers real close. For some reason some CL have missing paint on there bumpers near the wheelwell. I noted this when washing and waxing my car.

I took my car in to do several warranty work the other days at my San Antonio, TX dealership and I showed them the paint problem. The dealer told me that the paint seems to be wearing off. I questioned his remark by saying, at 1657 miles my paint is wearing off and in a period of two months, I believe however was painting the bumpers did not apply enough coats. BTW, the painting is done by computer tech.

Acura will be repainting my bumpers because according to the DSM all acura bumpers are black and are not prepainted, they are later painted by the dealer body shop. The small rigde on the bummper near the wheelwell (travels in a vertival direction toward the floor) seem to be missing paint and you can see the black bumper and pogressively it will get worst. all corners on my car were like that we even looked at some of the CL's on the lot and 3 out of 5 have the same problem like my car. You may be okay if you have the black but white, silver, red and blue need to be look at.

CHECK Your Car!! ASAP.

i think mine is fine as i had a problem with the film between the bumper and obdy sticking out, so i had them fix it and checked it and don't recall any weird paint missing.

No pics. I have been without the car for about 10 days.
I will post later once i get it back with an approval or disapproval of the work. Make sure you guys check your cars real well.
