Sitting here at work on the air force base in dayton i get bored so i decide to go for a drive. I go to wagner subaru and shoot the shit with them about the new sti. Those guys suck out there buy the way. So im coming back to work and i see this cougar with a huge fmai. (front mount air intake) He also had a huge wing and probably about 200 lbs of stereo equipment. Im sitting next to him in this pos luxary car and he looks over and laughs. We take off at the light and i pull behind him, not even speeding. At the next light this black crx pulls up. I let them go at it and the crx is spewing smoke (blue, assuming he was running lean) all over the road. The cougar smokes him. NExt light they go again. THis time im right behind the cougar and i want to represent the acura v6. He takes off and i take off. I stay about 2 feet from his bumper up to about 50 and then i slow down. I think the big spoiler was slowing him down cuz i wasnt even wot. O well. Needless to say the crx smoked off in the distance and i pull in to the parking lot. this guy is right behind me. He is saying how he wasnt even trying. I ask him whats under the hood. The reply is classic rice. He says he cant give away his secret. I was about to be like no secret dude i have a cai and i was right with ya. O well. That is the second time ive ever raced. Both times were against gay cars with even gayer drivers. Moral of the story lux-sport can run with rice!!!

 

good kill. cougars arent that fast, even with that v6. my gf's mom has one. i think they are fuggin ugly. not just ugly, pug fugly.

 

I raced one at the track with an intake, headers, exhaust. He took me off the line because he got a good jump. I passed him at probably about 60. I think I ran a 15.5 that run and he had a 15.7. Not a bad car once you put some money into it.

 

Any car can be good if you put money into it. I could trick out a Metro and run 9's. But after a day of racing, I'm still driving home in a Metro.

 

heh... that was my friend. i can spank him backwards and forewards on the street most of the time, but when it comes to track days i cant hang. or at least i couldnt at the time
