Acura body shop

So my car was hit when i had it parked in a parking lot, for 3500 in damages. The acura autobody had the car for over a month and a half, and everything they did had to be redone literally. I just finally got my car back, even thou its not satisfactory for me, and on top of this the put a big dent in my center console, and scrathed the top of my brand new titanium voodoo knob i had in for 2 weeks. You giuys think theirs anyway i can get them to pay for it. They don't like taking responsibility for anything. Makes me so angry. Oh they also put my car through an auto car wash many times without telling me so my paint which i kept perfect, is now scrathced everywhere.

Put your Acura dealership aside. Deal directly with the body shop. I had over $9K in damages to my 03 MDX. They fixed it as best they could. It did not meet my expectations, so I traded it in at my dealership. They couldn't screw me because I "used" their preferred body shop. They took care of me because they wholesaled the X. Most vehicles that sustain substantial damage....."are never the same"..........................

Good luck !

why not speak to the manager, show your proof of you only had the titanium voodoo knob, it show it was brand new...and be firm and make them pay for any damages they did.....

Yea it wasn't really a question just needed to vent my frustration. The shop was the libertyville autobody on the libertyville acura dealers lot. They are considered independant of the dealer thou.

Well guy left me a message saying that well the knob you said isnt an acura accesory, and we had to repaint ur bumper 4 times just to meet your satisfaction so it defies logic that you would ask us to replace ur shift knob cause you elegibly say we scratched it. The answer is no, we will not replace it.

I wanna smash this guys head in
