I cross-posted this story over 8 or 9 different honda and non-honda car forums. I got over 5,000 looks from people (total).. and over 300 posts of support.
Do you think that had any influence? Does the internet harness such power? Does Acura read these forums and are they concerned that people and potiential sales can be swayed lost on these forums?

So, I'd have to get the Hi-boost pulley from Comptech to componsate???
What do you think the boost would end up being if the stock pulley setup is 3-4 PSI and the Hi-boost pulley is 6psi?(after going to the undersized crank pulley)

1) I thought the Crank pulley was the same size as the stock, just made of light weight billet Alum.
2) The blower is driven off of the Alternator, which is driven off the crank. So, if you put the Hi boost pulley on would'nt that offset some of the "underdrive" you are talking about and come out somewhere between the stock and the HB psi?

nope ........ the crank pulley is 1.8lbs compared to stock 8.0lbs and it's 15% smaller diameter... the power steering pulley and the accessory pulley are same diameter as stock, but lighter

This is another reason why Acura bought back your car...
TL_Type_S... firstly another 'satisfied Acura owner'... albeit NOT because of Acura.. but because of YOU... and your graciousness in spending countless hours of your life... in sharing with all here and everywhere...
One componant that I would like to add... is from your mention that you LITERALLY AFFECTED 5,000 potentual Acura TL, future TL-S, CL/S or RL/S Sales... - do you realize???
As many of the dumbasses that Acura hires - either they are good actors... and play stupid... or just literally dumbest people they can find for least amount of money... Yet I sense they not only DO read these forums... but 'ACT' upon them.... I.e. imagine my being Acura... and seeing this bitching shit from you ... this is what I'd do...
1. Damn... the damage is already down... we been exposed.
2. Let's play like a good guy... and a few grand will NOT change our Billions in revenue... so to circumvent the IMMENSE ANGER of yours and a few others... while still attract potential 5,000 customers... let's give him what he wants... and shut this thing / ase down... knowing that 'true' people who bleed honda.. will be loyal and still get our products...
COngrats on sticking it out and putting another notch in your 'way of accomplishing the thing to the end' .. We all are PROUD of you... for you done us GOOD...

I had the same problem last January with acura. They treated me the same way. The resolution by the BBB was to give me an 03 CLS w/ 6 Speed for 4k. I was pretty happy with the deal, and I could not be happier w/ the 6 speed. I still love Honda, my immediate family has purchase 14 hondas since 74, and 3 motorcycles. However while I believe Honda builds the best products the customer service sucks. It is not going to be hard for me to stop buying Hondas if someone has a competitive product at a competive price but so far no one really does. The g35 is a nice car but the interior is fugly. The lexus IS300 is an overpriced corrola, and its not fast. What else offers what the Acura TL/CL do? BMW yep for $20,000 more. Sorry if I was to buy new today it would be a TL even though I had 2 trannys fail on me. Well at least one because I don't think they ever replaced the first one like they said they did.
