I have 7800 miles on my CL, and changed my oil at like 5000 miles. and rotated tires at 7500. Why should I do 7500 miles manitanace?
My manual says that only at 1year/15K miles you need to do maintance ( other things beside oil change and tire rotation ).
Will I lose my waranty if I dont do this 7500 miles mainanace?
They want to inspect my break pads, CV boots and check fluids. WTF??? I dont need all this, and its not required by manual at 7500 miles.

These milage checkups are just ways for the dealers to make cash.... I haven't brought my car to the dealer yet, and I have 60k on it. I do all of the maintanence myself and for the more difficult stuff, I do it with my friend who is a mechanic. It's such a ripoff. It also makes no difference for warranty and resale. I went to trade in my car and the dealer didn't even care if I did the services myself. At first I told him I did all of them at the dealer, but a friend of mine didn't and he said it WOULDN'T make a difference!! Something to keep in mind....

As long as you have reciepts for the oil or bils form the service center , you are fine. The key is that the work was done, by who should not matter. Of course you should use genuine Acura parts and the dealer is best equipted and trained to keep your car in top shape , but get the work done regardless of where!

So as long as you do the bare minimum required maintance specified in your manual ( Driving under Normal Conditions ) you should not have any problems with warranty ?
