With Acura Care, good auto insurance (incl. mech breakdown/towing), and the Internet for maps/discounts/etc., is there a good reason to pay $50 for 14 months of AAA?

it's only $50, why not just pay it in case?

I kept my AAA membership as well.
I like to use them for the tour book & maps because if I travel for business or fly out of state and rent a car I won’t have my NAV to rely on.
Plus I still need coverage for my wife’s car.
We bought her Integra when it was one year old and it didn’t come with “Acura Care” at the time.

AAA gives you coverage in ANY car you are in. Acura Roadside doesn't do that. It's a nice safety blanket.

I kept the AAA -- good rate for 2 drivers *and* I can get towed away if I'm in hers. They also have a Plus program. I had it before I got the Acura, and I never worried about having a long flat-bed tow (never needed it, but nice to feel safe on those long rides)...
What would you pay to not be left by the side of the freeway in a rental car?
