98 3.0CL vs. '01 1.8T Jetta
3.0CL with venom400/vtec controller or 1.8T Jetta with new ECU chip?
i heard chips are very effective with jettas (200-250hp, 250torque) so im wondering....i was gonna get 1.8T jetta but i heard they have too many problems with their interior stuff...
oh and one more thing.....my friend just bought RSX-S..you think my 3.0cl can beat stock S? or is S too fast for US?

You should be able to beat it. How much are you spraying? With a chip and a good driver in the VWs, he will be running mid 14's If he is a good driver it should be a good race. But you should be able to take him.
The RSX-S only has 200hp stock, so you should be able to take that as well.
