You should be able to get the 60' in the 2.3's, even stock. Did you brake-tq at all? Usually you wanna brake-tq it to ~2k rpm just before the last amber to get the rpms up when you launch it.

dont the 3.2s usually hit around 2?? brake-tq?? its a manual.. i dropped it about the last amber at about 3g's, and if you want to see a noticable difference in your quarter with a short ram you will have to take out your right headlight which i didnt do so its not that big of difference.... aslo why arnt there any other first gen time slips posted??

my last run at marion county with my cam,CAI, exhaust and headers i ran a 15.43 1/4 at 87.2mph with my little 2.2cl 5spd...the yokohama avses100 tires gripped really well when i dumped mine at 2750rpms, i did really good 60ft times and all that, after that run i tried to dump clutch at around 5500 on watered concrete before my run to heat up my tires, they broke lookse, or so i thought i heard rubber burning, it was the mustang next to me, my car had a buch of smoke pouring out under it, but it was my clutch! i had to back it off the track, and hang my head in shame...i just recently put in an excedy h/p clutch, with a heavier pressure plate, cant wait to run it after my break in period, i should have a scanner or a digicam by then to post pics of my slips...later...Ben
