Holy crap!

Not sure if it was a 93, but it was this body style



We were on the NJ turnpike, he comes up behind me and then passes me. I can see and hear his fart pipe and the car is all busted looking. We were playing with eachother a bit until we came to a clearing. At this point we were going maybe 70ish..side by side.

All of a sudden, about a mile up, we get a huge opening and I am planning to just pass him like nothing, but to my surprise, he gave me a hard time up to about 100!! He took off like a bat out of hell from 70 to about 100, then I wass finally able to pass him at that point and put about a 7-10 car lenth on us. I shut down at 125 or so...I gave him the hazzards, and he responded with a flash of his highbeams.

But damn...

I am thinking he had a swapped engine or spraying or something, cause he really caught me by surprise. The 93 only has 140hp stock.

A few possibilities: a) nitrous, b) turbo kit, c) H22A swap or d) any combination of the previous three.

If so, dont sweat it. Some modded 5G Accord 5sp gave me a hard time on the turnpike while I was in my 2k2 Maxima. I mean he was on me pretty good until we rolled above 100mph, at which point I rolled away.

With mods, you neva know what they're really packing.

yeah them 93 accords are pretty good for 140 HP...i used to race my dad's stock 1 all the time...n then i crashed it last friday cuz i had it till my CL got fixed ...it should b back up n running soon
