9005 highbeam upgrade.....
Well worth the $25 from www.autocarparts.com.
The difference is obvious as soon as you turn your highs on.
Not quite the same as the HIDs but REAL close.
and lets not forget the sweet blue reflection in the highbeam housing.!

Woo Hoo!!
Thanks for the info guys!!
I just got my lamps in the mail, and I am putting them in now along with some other stuff during my lunch break at work.
Use the gloves, no residue nor chance of greasing up the lamps.

DeLucCL-S : hope you have better luck than me. I put my high on and one of the bulbs was a no-glow.
Also, the bulbs (both of them) looked like they were really old stock. They had a kinda gunky covering on them, not the clean sheen of a bulb.
Guys! Stay away from that one... It is selling as a APC from autocarparts.com but comes marked Nokya.. 9005 Now I wished I would have gotten the Solaris. Would have been nice to have had them in for Christmas.

Well, this is why I am really really glad I bought my bulbs out of autoparts.com One of the bulbs was a no-glow and Tim got on it right away. Replacements are on the way.
Thanks Tim.

I was a little unsure whether to go with this bulb, but for the price...it would be good enough for me....it looks much better than stock and i get the blue reflection i wanted.
Mine did not look old nor did they have any gunk on them.....they looked better than $25 bulbs actually.
I hope i have better luck than you too..so far so good....

When I had the high in, I turned the lights on the high was whiter than stock for sure... The stock high shows yellowish.
Can't wait to get my replacements.
Thank goodness they are so much easier to install than the fogs.

Hey guys, are your stock fog lights white, or are they rather yellow? I have a 2002 Maxima and the fogs are whitish yellow, and the high beams are more yellow than white.
I see you guys are changing the highs to something more white. I wonder if the auto makers made them yellow for functional purpose? I have read yellow lights cut thru fog better. As for high beam, not sure why they come in yellow when stock...
