75,000 miles

Hello gents,
I just hit 75k miles on my beloved A-CLS (still on first transmission ), and it's time for a little preventative care for it.
I have reviewed the manual and I will be doing most of the tasks myself to keep my a-hole in tact when its all done, but just a couple of questions...
I just had the tranny recall done on my car two months ago...is a tranny fluid change needed? Do they change the tranny fluid during the recall? Should I get it done now?

Also, below are the list of things I'm planning on doing...can anyone think of anything else I should take a look at or replace?
Coolant Flush and Fill
Tranny fluid change???
Change Timing belt
Check all other belts
Check water pump
Change cabin filters
Clean CAI filter
Grease all hinges and latches
(just changed oil 1k miles ago)

Anything I'm missing that you guys think I should consider?
Thanks for all your help gents.....it's much appreciated!

ok...now time for a REAL n00b question...is there a little window or anything where I can see what the tranny fluid looks like , or do I need to open it up to take a look???

And I almost forgot...the brake fluid and pads were changed and the rotors were turned 6k miles ago, so all brake stuff should be ok

I'm right there with you at 74,300! I also had the oil jet recall done and no they dont change the fluid so you might as well. Pull the dipstick out and let it drip on a paper towel or white piece of paper to see how it looks. By the way, after 1k miles it will be discolored.

You dont need to change the timing belt yet (not until 105,000) and I wouldnt unless you really know what you are doing. If you do, you might as well replace the fan belts since you have to take them off to get to the timing belt, same for the water pump.

If you have not kept your motor clean, I would also change the rad hoses since you are draining the coolant anyway. Honda hoses are so good, I let mine go 90k. Also my motor is very clean so the hoses are in great shape.

Good luck.
