6MT Price

Looking at some 6 speeds.

What do you think, at local acura dealer.

03 anthricite/black interior 46K miles, no navi. $19,000 is the negotated price. Good shape, has a few(3) door dings, small scrape on passanger side, drives fine. Has aftermarket bridgestone tires 225-45-17 brand new. Has tint. Waiting on a carfax for it, & what % I can get on it.

03 black/tan interior 34K miles with navi. They are certifing it. Won't go any less then $21,500. Drives fine as well. Has new 215-50-17 dunlop tires. All stock.
I don't like the color combo, & the car looks like it was beat, or something. They had to replace the navi, & the jack looks like it was ripped out of the holder. The holder is all bent up. Has window tint that is all scratched up on the rear window. The body looks ok, no damage. Carfax is clean on this one.

Dealer won't go any lower on prices

I'll be keeping this car for a long time.

I got my anthracite 6mt with 41k on it. It has nav and black interior. I got it with a 6 year additional warrenty(acura care thing) where if a knob on the steering wheel breaks they repalce it. I got it all with tax title reg fee's included for 21k If they are willing to fix the probs on the black/tan one that seems like a fair price.

As a gauge - I bought mine August of 2004 w/ 18K miles on it. SSM w/ Navi and very clean. Certified through Acura so got additional 12 mo and 12K miles added to warranty. Negotiated mine to $24K.

For reference I purchased my 6MT no navi in June for $20,000 with 31k miles. It was a private party transaction but the car was also supercharged, headers, suspension, etc.

If I did get another 6MT, I wouldn't be modding this one. (well maybe a lip spolier & a sub) I left a deposit on the anthracite one. I can change my mind, going to sleep on it. I find it hard to fork over that much $$ for a used car with 46K miles. No matter what car it is. I'd buy Shawns's car but I wouldn't want the mods. Smittys is nice but is a bit much for me.

It the anthracite one certified too ??

In my mind that's worth extra (at least to me). Since your buying from a dealer (retail) the price is always going to be higher, but certifed takes a little of the sting away.

46K is average mileage for a 3 year old car (2006's are out). I've got 39K miles on my 6spd, and I don't think I'd let it go for less then 19K in a private sale.

Have the itch again buddy?

I'd want the 6-speed back too, I think I'm going to go drive it right now. It's an addiction I find hard to satisfy

Edit: Athracite =

Let me know which ones you want taken off and when you want me to deliver it to Florida.
Have someone local check it out for you first of course.

Send PM.

If it helps, I picked up my anthracite 6MT in July w/ 23k on it for 19 grand(no nav but it has that laminated aluminum dash kit-I think it's a dealer option). The Michelin Pilots on it were pretty much done, couple of very small dings and there's moderate keying marks on the trunk. Other than that, the car was very well cared for and I'm very happy with it. The owner had to sell it to me through the dealer since it was almost off the lease.

Geez... looks like these cars are worth $20K to $22K depending on the condition! Damn - lost at least $9K already incl taxes (just over three years!). That's like $250 / month.

Yeah, as far as Acuras go, the resale is basically OK but nothing special. It worked out great since I was buying, but folks looking to get rid of their rides will take a hit.
