Well-run board when nattg the nega noderator gives the finger to a member. grow up.
I agree the automatic tranny is crap and I'm pissed at Honda not the buyers. I responded to some of the negative comments to my posting my badge picture. I'll try not to inflame 6 speed envy Mr Nega Noderator. Maybe the automatics could bput a badge showing what tranny they're on! I'd be pissed too if I had an automatic, but in 01 when that's all there was I passed, thankfully.
Ok I feel better, I don't mind the joking (Motel 6 :P ). just mattg pissed me off.

easy man, i own a six speed, and i don't think it looks very good either, nice to see some effort but nothing about it matches the old style of the print, or the current Acura symbol you still have on the car...
the version one title of your thread implies to me that this wasn't your only try, so maybe you could take some suggestions to heart, albeit there weren't many substantial ones

Well, he did say it was version 1, hinting that they'll be a version #2... I think this was discussed before, but didn't the legend coupe have a 6spd badge...

With the 7th gen accords you can tell which ones are the 6mt's due to the "V6" logo being in red and not black.
Acura should have done something similar. Maybe made the "S" black for all 2700 6speeds to differentiate then from the autos.

As soon as I read this thread I knew where it was headed, and I'm right. A few years ago I used to read the same kind of discontent between TL-P and TL-S owners.

just try to remember that a majority of us own autos, and most of those people still love their cars despite having a shitty tranny.
this site wouldn't exist w/o the auto cl-s, neither would your 6MT.

I don't want to lump in all my good buddies with 6 speeders, they're cool, but you 6 speed guys who need their own logo are sad !! I love my 5AT and don't need any stinkin badges to make me feel better. By the way, let's race, maybe i'll give you a head start to make up for the lag !!

Putting a badge on it that says it's a 6-speed takes away from it being a sleeper (since stock for stock, 6-speed is a tad faster).
Sometimes, less is more, and I believe this to be the case here.

Alright I guess I stirred up something. My friend at work just had to replace her 01 CLS tranny at 50k and I feel for her and others that have had the problem. Some of my best friends drive automatics. Let's be lovers, not haters.
