572CI 972HP Wow
A guy came to our car show the other week and brought along his new toy. It was a 55 Chevy Belaire with a 572CI engine. I have heard of high rise manifolds before but you could put your whole arm through this one. He had it dynoed at 972HP. It is streetable but cranky. The sound is awesome. Not so much the exhaust but just all the mechanical sounds of solid lifters, etc. Here's the engine:

Would that be the cruise night up in Sommerville? I was there.That car is awesome.After I am done fixing up my Acura.That is what I am going to do next.Something for cruising.It's either going to be a Chevelle or a shoebox Chevy.
