This summer i worked with a guy that drove a 82 GMC 1500, he had a new engine in it started as a 350 that he built him self, had it bored and stroked. He said he get between 6 and 7 mpg on the HIGHWAY. He also said it will lay a few hundred feet of smoking rubber. Not to mention its and auto.
