??? 4 those w/ 19s
Hey. I'd like 2 know how the ride on 19's is compared 2 stock? I know its goiing 2 be harsh esp., since it rides on a 35 (i.e. 2xx/35/19), but is it alot harsher? My friend wants 2 put 19s on his car (CLS) since they are just pimp but doesn't want 2 if the ride quality is horrible. Also, have u guys bent ur rims esily b/c of the small sidewall? thanx

the ride on 19"s with stock (soft) suspension is not that bad at all... if you hadnt been in the car before the 19"s id say you wouldnt even be able to notice much harshness in the ride quality at all.
besides hitting big potholes etc.... it feels pretty good.
i now have my car dropped pretty damn low on stiff ass fixed rate springs tho... and the ride isnt great.
i would venture to say that 19"s on a car dropped with something like Comptechs would have a fairly close to stock ride quality tho.

Soopa, thanks 4 responding bro, I really appreciate it. I'd like him 2 go w/19s but I'm curious as 2 how long have u had ur 19's? Also, his car will be dropped w/H&R sports inorder 2 get rid of the excursion wheelgap.
And, finally, what wheels do u guys like better:

If your friend lives in NYC then I wouldn't recommend 19's, with the roads the city has, it's going to be hard to get around the pot holes, and pot holes are leading cause of bended rims...
Boy I sound like a Surgeon General...
As far as the ride on 19s, I will be able to tell you next week, when my rims come in...

Wsup fellas. The 19's are gone due to some financial probs but if an investment comes through for me i guarantee they will be back. I drive in NYC all the time and yes..almost had a few accidents avoiding potholes. Just gotta drive carefully. I've got them on Koni's and its a bit harsh. But I've got the Yellows set on pretty firm.
I live in the BX near yonkers. But I go to school in upstate NY. I have chrome stock rims to hold me down for now, but as soon as I get some dough, hopefully I can get some hot shiiettt.
