I dropped my car off today for 30k mile service w/o an oil change. I am wondering what other people are paying for the same service on a CL-S 6m, if that makes a difference.

I got a TSX as a loaner, who knew they could do 70+ in 2nd gear?

Does anyone know what the service is supposed to include?

30,000 Mile Service

Services to be performed:

-Replace engine oil.

-Rotate tires

-Replace engine oil filter.

-Inspect front and rear brakes.

-Check parking brake adjustment.

-Inspect tie rod ends, steering gear box and boots.

-Inspect suspension components.

-Inspect driveshaft boots.

-Inspect brake hoses and lines (including ABS).

-Check all fluid levels, condition of fluids, and check for leaks.

-Inspect cooling system hoses and connections.

-Inspect exhaust system.

-Inspect fuel lines and connections.

-Replace air cleaner element.

-Inspect and adjust drive belts.

-Replace dust and pollen filter.

 

mine was like 400 bucks. be prepared, you should ask first too.

 

I just got the call from the dealership. The car is done.

They added some tape between the moon roof and frame to reduce the vibration. They also replaced the brake pads and re-surfaced the rotors (under warranty). They had to order a new seat-warmer for the driver side as the back wasn't warming up properly, which is also under warranty. This was done in addition to the normal 30k service minus the oil change.

The total was $341.42, which is better than the quote I got from them when I dropped off the car.
