there i was racing a cl-s, well actually i was just accelerating normally...and i still won........bye bye strike 3 and im out..shouts out to all the subarus owners out there....well, at least i did one thing....i brought back some responses and some life to this boring board....catch me at Subaru board!!!! WHo ever said the CLS or TLS was faster than the WRX? Hell even camaro SS are faster than the CLS, but why compare, different cars... AND if any CLS owners wanted a WRX, they could have.

I am with crazy acura, if any of us wanted a WRX we would have one in our garage right now. Personally I think that our cars are much more comfortable than the WRX, I wouldnt trade the comfort just to be going a little faster than the guy next to me. Maybe it is a guy thing though, but personally I could care less if someone "smokes" me on the road. I think the main thing is that I like the car I am driving. Sure it is nice to be fast, but hey there is always someone faster.

Dont hate us just cause you cant afford our cars. Your WRX is in a totally different class then us. Like everyone already said, every single one of us can have a WRX anytime if we wanted one. I can have one in my driveway within an hour. Who cares if your car is faster, I would rather get from point A to point B in comfort, style and class, instead of getting there a few mins faster(oh thats if you dont get pulled over). You wanna see fast, go race a bike.

I think most of us here have already realized that we don't drive sports cars or race cars...we drive luxury cars that are pretty darn fast. As for you, you drive a nice, affordable AWD car that doesn't even come close to matching our luxury.

Hey Type WRX 2002,

I've had one run-in with a brand new WRX, and while the car is quick, a few salient points to "drive" home here:

1. This car could not pass me.
2. This car could not pass me.
3. This car could not pass me.

Anything else? Oh yeah, this car couldn't pass me even on curves! The guy had plenty of opportunity and was on my ass (until his headlights disappeared from my rearview mirror) so he thought he'd toast me. No deal. Drink from your sippy cup and cry. The dream's over.

We all could easily walk into a Subaru showroom floor and drive away with a WRX and feel good, for about 20 minutes. No luxury, road manners, nice amenities nor class. A lot of power, speed, noise and discomfort - but thats the trade off for going hmm, let's see - about a second or two faster than us. BIG DEAL!

You take your WRX with a few friends on a 500 mile road trip, and I'll be more than happy to take my CL over your turbocharged coffin any day!

my friend owns a WRX, ive driven it and its all alone in a different class.

n/a and "all motor" are the same thing, no FI.

He may be all stock, and there is even a small chance he even owns a car but 14 psi or whatever that small turbo is pushing is not "all motor".
