3 kills this morning, 540, C70 and TL-S....
On the way to the grocery store this AM at 730AM. 540 was two middleaged golfers going golfing. I ran up along side of them around 50 for 20 secs or so and we came up to a light the passenger looked over at his driver then me and said "honda rice burner", this was obviouslly a race at this point. I staged the light and at green jumped hard, their traction control took over and I jumped two cars easily and by 80 they were still two cars behind but closing slowly. Obviously dont know how to drive, they should have been ahead the whole way.
C70 was an automatic and pretty close to the CL up to 100 (1.5 cars behindat 100 .and 1 ahead until 2nd gear vtec at 60-80.
TL-S had a passenger and brand new with stock tires also didn't shut off his VSA so this was a 3 car kill by 80. Obviously he didnt know how to shift with the gate because no 2nd gear squawk.
FUN RIDE GETTING GROCERIES!!!!!

hope you didn't have any eggs in the car! 
the 540's are fast and up to 3rd gear you shouldn't have a problem keeping up but once you in the triple digit range all that torque will come bite yo ass and pass you.
just my personal experience w/ AC's 540 vs. stock typeS.

I dont think that's a qualifier for whether they are a bad driver or not. I can turn in great 1/4 mile times at the track, but my car never chirps going into 2nd. I've only seen Spiro's do that, and he has Comptech headers, et al. What makes them a bad racer is that they didnt shut off the VSA.

...i'd take what they said as the insult of insults...and the fact that they're snotty golfers is proof enough they have like zero knowledge of cars...im glad u showed them they're as imcompetant as their method of driving the "ultimate" driving machine

Nova is right, you shouldn't have a hard time keeping up with the 540 automatics til 80, watch out for the 6spd variety, those jump off the line quick as hell.
Too bad it wasn't me in the 540i, I wouldn't have let you beat me

I killed a M3 last weekend. I thought those things were supposed to be fast?
It was a new one, I guess it was a 2002? model, as it had 4 doors. Looked like a high school kid, my parent's only bought me clothes.

Except the older ones, where the glass stuck really high above the hood/trunk line.I really don't like the looks or build quality of any of the 3 series. The 5 series are very nice, but just way overpriced.
