It couldn't have been better. I sent in a sample of Amsoil 5W30 with 5,000 miles on it to see how the motor was holding up. In a nutshell all wear metels were nearly HALF of average, as the report said this is what we usually see in oil 3200 miles old. Air filtration thru the AEM CAI (K&N) looked good, and there was nil fuel in the sample and NO water or antifreeze. Interestingly, the Amsoil still had one-third more detergent left in it than an average oil. I asked them if I would make it to 300,000 miles and they said yes, stay at your 5K change interval to do so. FYI this motor ran on Mobil 1 for 100,000 miles and then was switched to Amsoil for no real reason than other to try it. Have always used a Wix filter. The 3.2 proves it's a great motor again, and I have not been easy on it!
