2003 CL 6 speed in a 2004 Odyssey

Started my swap two days ago :)
Just started doing a accord 6spd swap in my 2001 oddy. Keeping the j35 though. So wiring should be a lot simpler. I'm also gonna try to avoid the clutch pedal nightmare and just go with a premade pedal box for a race car. What trans mounts did you end up using? Custom fabrication or did the cl ones work? Sorry to revive an old thread

Looking forward to your progress and pictures.
Just be aware, when you go to mate the trans case to the clutch case, do not replicate the situation which resulted in a cracked case for the guy below.
This is what happens when you panic because the Acura manual tells you that you have four minutes to put the tranny case back on after applying grey gasket maker or you must redo it. You actually have a good 10-13 minutes. So don稚 panic like I did. I used a rubber mallet to slide the countershaft bearing intro the tranny case. In a panic, I grabbed my rubber mallet and began wacking the top of the tranny case. Not noticing that I was wacking it with the metal side of the rubber mallet.
I looked down and saw that I made a hairline crack where the main shaft oil tube meets the oil feed. I then had to remove it for the third time(and reapply grey gaskermaker) to Gingerly hammer it back into previous position.
The second time I had to remove the tranny case was because I forgot to place the third dowel pin that goes between the two cases. I contemplated leaving it but then saw a vision of me ripping the tranny because I shifted too fast and the dowel pin wasn稚 there to save the day.
To repair the hairline crack I bought aluminum brazing rods to repair the crack. But then also read that JB weld works very well in these cases. Since I had the JB weld new in my toolbox I opted for that. I知 sure those aluminum rods will one day come in handy.
