2003 Acura CL Type-S HELP!
Hey guys what's up just got myself a 03type-s Stock
Really looking to mod it up a bit after seeing everyones great looking CL's on here.
New to this so could use all the advise I can get!
Just put in a AEM cold air intake.
Next I wanted to work on the sound of the car what all can I get done to make it have a LOUD DEEP Roar!

well the intake does the most with regards to sound of the car, but u still need exhaust work to make it a symphony.
wait for the ATLP cat back to be fitted to our cars from HEELTOE and then pounce on it!! that's what I am doing
and grab urself some headers comptech if u are 6speed (i believe those are the only ones with the bend in it to clear the mount that are still in production) but those are hard to come by used.
or if u are auto.. u can go comptech, obx, dc sports, or megan..
headers will run u anywhere from 3-600 depending on if u buy new, but u will unleash some serious power with those headers. it's like transforming ur car... mine was a whole new animal when i did my ct headers.
if you don't mind a little more of a raspy/loud note then the XLR8 cat would help with the sound as well. I was going to buy this mod also but I've seen ppl lose low end with it and the car smells more and can develop drone (from what I've read and heard). so I opted to save the 3-4 bills and put that into the exhuast.

For sound headers and exhaust. I always recommend suspension first tho, makes the biggest difference in car feel.

Thanks Bro! and yeah I heard about the smell getting pretty strong with the XLR8 cat so I'm gonna leave that alone for now..
First I'm thinking about installing a Magnaflow exhaust and removing the resonator then moving on to mugen headers what do you think?
