2003 Acura cl 3.2 base/transmission swap
Has anybody done a successful transmission swap with the 2nd gen cl? I heard about the odyssey & Honda av6 accord transmissions. When I talk to multiple local mechanics they tell me it’s absolutely not going to work. I need advice ASAP I’ll get rid of the car if becomes stressful.

AV6 is most ideal.. 06-07 specifically.

They were telling me that the car can only take the Mgfa transmission that came with the car, I guess all the shops have that computer with all the data.I want to be 100% on this, I just don’t have the time or money to waste.

If you check my post about this matter, you'll find out that you can use a 06 base TL transmission. That's what is Currently installed on my 01 CL-P.
