2002 Maxima Headlamps Stolen
2002 Maxima Headlamps Stolen
My Dad's Partners Daughter lives in the Bronx right near Pelham Parkway and Eastchester Road and had her headlights stolen on her new Maxima. $1,800 bucks total to replace them. I guarntee you will see them on ebay or in a local body shop. It would be funny if someone brought them to my dad and her dads body/auto shop and tried to sell them.
DAMN .... Sorry to hear that man. My cousin's friend got his 02 max whole front-end smashed... in LIC/NY off Greenpoint Ave. This is the second one i heard of. I wonder if the maxs HIDs are going to be a new trend too.

It seems to me that the thieves prey on cars that have more easily stolen headlights and also have the ballasts attached or close by. Unfortunately for you guys, the Acuras are designed tha way.
You hardly ever hear of BMW/MB/Audi HIDs being jacked......
Yea but if you have an AUDI don't valet park that shit. With access to the hood, people steal the hi-beam HID part and the owner wont ever notice.
I've seen Maximas with missing headlights and the body looked virtually UNTOUCHED!!

IF he works near 110 - 135 between lenox and St. Nicholas he should be okay. Going up towards 158th and St. Nick up to broadway i will say he better upgrade the stock alarm soon as he buys it. My cousin's friend is from around there and he got his stolen visiting this shorty in Long Island City. He said he feels pretty safe in his area of harlem and he parks his car in front of his brownstone, with not much light.
