$20k

You'd get about $18k on a trade in with that car and low miles.

Yeah i'd say the closer you can get to 18K the better the deal. Having 12000miles on the clock is great for you, but adds no more then $300 to the value over all.

Rememeber tomorrow the car will be 3years old in terms of book value, so try stay around 18K +500.

Doesn't seem that great of a deal to me, but I'm not a fan of the automatics and no Navi?. you don't mention the color. For that price you can get a newer 03 6 speed. Why risk it?
I'd offer $18,500 if you gotta have it, even less if white. Maybe more if red with black interior, black, or blue.
But drive an 03 6 Speed before signing on the dotted line!

Somewhat, but not by much why, Well your 02 CLS has only got 12K on the clock. You STILL have the B2B warranty, the certified warranty does not cover everything you dont have now, so whats it worth to you now nothing. If it through a Acura dealer you get the special financing % rate whatever that is now.

IF the car had 30,000miles on the clock the Certified warranty would mean something as if would kick in after you expired the B2B warranty.

Just thinking about it, sounds like the dealer it trying to make more profit by having it has a certified car, when in fact the car does not need it. The certified warranty is only good for 12months from the time you take delivery of the car.

You will have B2B warranty remaining still by then.

My question to the dealer would be, if the certified warranty is only good for 12months from the date you take delivery. What good is it to you if your car IS already covered under the warranty that comes with the car which is 100% coverage, where as the Certified is not ........

$18K- $18500 MAX ... Thank me later

That's not true, the Acura Certified Warranty is added ON to the factory warranty period, so you get a 5 yr, 60k warranty. the Certifed warranty covers most all items the factory one does, but not all items, like cosmetic things in the interior.
Where are you getting this info...probably from a dealer, you get a different answer depending on who you talk to. I always call Acura 800# for info. Dealers don;t know or don't care to know.

Well thats news to me, i bought a Certified 01CLS this past march, to cut a long story short, my B2B warranty ran out, and the Certified warranty took over, there have been several things that the Certified warranty does not cover, and i'm not talking cosmetic....If that was the case, witht the problems i have had, i would of not been fighting the local dealer over warranty issues that certified warranty does not cover.

You're better off just paying the $1000 for the additional 2 year warranty instead of medling with a dealerships certified program...

Depending on what dealership you speak to, the idea of what 'certified' means changes. Some are speaking of the real-deal extended Acura warranty...some mean something else(maybe in-house warranty service with third-party road side asst, etc).

Acura/Hyundai, strange combo. Two very different ends of the spectrum.
Thats a great deal on that CLS-6 though, especially if you can get it for under 18k, DAMN!

Your right chopper it is a strange combo, especially when rick case Hyundai show room is in the same lot as Rick case Acura.

The Hyundai part i believe is moving to a Largest Hyundai dealership about 10miles away very close to Rick Cases Honda Dealership.

As for the 6speed what did i tell you chopper. rememeber

But you did the right thing, as we talked about before
