once a car is over 50k miles, the depreciation really kicks in, ESPECIALLY on something as new as a 2001!!!!! i mean damn!! where the hell do you drive that you have 50k + on a 2001 car??? thats, what, 1 year old???

No, it's probably 2 years old (or a little more). 2001 came out in early spring of 2000. I got mine in June 2000, and it has 63,000 miles.

here we go again, I have mine since 15/06/00 and now I have 42500 miles. Drive a lot... sometimes I had 75 miles commute.. few trips to Montreal at 600 miles each and you see how the miles will rack up quickly!

Things I need to take of under warranty... Innor Door panel is coming off arounf the handle. 2) Mufflers needs to be replainted as per TSB.

I've put 9000 miles on since May for my 2003.

That guy might still get more for his auction. He's still got about a day left so that might bring in some more bids. I'm not sure where he's getting that $24k blue book value though. I checked Kelly's Blue Book for a 2001 CL-S with 56k miles in excellent condition. Private party sale they list it at $18,800.
