1 year maintance & void waranty

I change my oil every 5000 miles and rotate tires every 7000 miles. In Augest it will be 1 year since I have the car, should I spend 200$ to do the maintance to keep my waranty ?
I dont realy understand what needs to be done in 1 year besides regular oil changes and tire rotation?
1 year maintance is mostly inspecting things and checking things.
What if I dont do anything at 1 year time, can Acura void my waranty in case something breaks ???

don't think so...i think as long as you do regular maintenance and whatever, they can't void your warranty.

i mean if i went 3005 miles before changing my oil, can they say that i went 5 past and didn't change it so the warranty is void?

my dealer gave me a maintenance book which is a little different than the table in the manual...which do i follow?

i think the recommended service intervals are just that...recommended, so they can't void a warranty 'cuz they only recommended (as oppposed to "required") the service intervals and inspections and stuff.

Actually I don't think you can really void the warranty unless you do something that is specifically prohibited.

What will probably happen if anything is if something goes wrong, either it will be covered by the warranty or it will not. Only at that time will it be determined if you have done whatever you could [to comply].

I think....don't quote me.

the only way you can void your warranty (and it would only be on a certain item on the car is by incorrect maint or neglect, (however most of you know i work at a dealer and reccomend them) - for example if you never changed your oil, and you spun a rod bearing, the engine would not be covered, but the rest of your car would like if you also had a radio concern

remember warranty is for defects in factory workmanship and materials

if you do your own maint read the book check the things you are supposed to, you may find a problem that hasn't presented itself under normal driving, but may be a potential problem down the road
