07 TL-S shift knob -> CL-S 6MT

so i got an 07 TL type-s shift knob for my CLs 6mt. i was hoping that it would work when i bought it from oemacuraparts.com, but it was still a bit of a plunge. its a PERFECT fit. so for anyone thinking about this upgrade... go for it. it sits about an inch and a half lower than the top of the stock knob.

vv sexy yes?

have to check the receipt but i think 50 bucks... not bad for a real deal knob that you know is going to fit aesthetically and mechanically.

^^ thats the one. yeah theres a snap on the inside where the little sliver ring seperates the knob from the boot. you snap the new knob in there and screw it down till it gets really hard to turn and settle it into the lined up spot and put the boot holder back in place. really easy install. just use a screwdriver to unattach the boot from the old knob.

i got the same one, and it fits ever so perfectly, and for around 50, its a great buy. btw, that shift knob is the same for the 04 up to the 07 TL, not just the TL-S. looks and feels a lot better than stock doesnt it?

When I bought mine, they were charging less for the 07TLS knob than for the 04-06 TL knobs even tho theyre the same knob. Don't know why, but I got the TLS knob!

I did this mod a while back. The TSX knob I had before looked better IMO and had a better quality and feel, much heavier and shorter, but the TL knob fits the boot like stock, the TSX doesn't.

I've got this knob as well. It fills the hand better than stock and actually feels lighter during shifts. I like how much shorter it is too...

I did this mod about a year ago to both my Cl-S and RSX -S. Both easy to install. Just pull down on the booth and unscrew old knob and screw on the new knob. Whala!!! Kick ass mod that looks good.

I put that knob on mine a few months ago. I like it so much better than the OEM $170 knob. Its crazy Acura used the NSX knob on the CL. The '04-'07 TL knob is so much cheaper and looks sooooo much better than the OEM.

Thanks everyone ... I just installed mine.

For the other canadians that don't want to pay for the extra shipping, duty etc - I bought mine at the dealship for $100 CND - just asked for a 2007 TL-S shift knob.
