03 6sp, 20K miles, 19K asking....I would say that's a damn good deal. I looked for months on Autotrader and yahoo and saw plenty of 30K mile cars with 24K+ asking prices. I wouldn't just go with those details alone though. Find out what else is going on with the car just to be careful. Could be some hidden issues in there. I hope it all goes your way though.

carfax says registered 2 owners and has a clean title. the owner needs to sell to buy a house. he has perfect ratings on his ebay id and i met with the guy, he sounds honest and very trustworthy.

he pointed out all the flaws that he could find, there are no dents but a few little scratches. there is one rim that is scratched from a curb and other than that, the car is pretty clean.

he use to work for acura as a mechanic too so all the oil changes and maintenance was done by himself.

I finally gave up on finding a 6sp for < $20k and bought an 03 Accord 6sp for $18k (still a sweet car, bonzer navi!). i found a 03 cl-s 6sp w/navi for $25k (lady was still into the lease for $28!!!), ditto (SMR w/ parchment interior) in Akron OH for $22.5k and same sans navi for $21k.

i'm jealous! go for it!!!

Sounds about right to me... I've seen 6spds forsale (privately) for $20k on up, so the car is priced to sell. People with asking prices over $24K are are on crack IMHO. My CLS is 2 years old, and I bought mine in Oct. 02. Some of the 6spd are 2 1/2 years old.

If I was to sell my SMR 6spd now, I'd probably ask for $23K (28K miles), but with the trade in value being what it is, something over $20K would probably be what I'd get offered for it.

This is a steal if it's legitimate. The private party selling price is $22,145. Here's a kbb value in your area.

Engine: V6 3.2 Liter HO VTEC
Trans: 6 Speed Manual
Drive: Front Wheel Drive
Mileage: 20,000

Equipment
Air Conditioning
Power Steering
Power Windows
Power Door Locks
Tilt Wheel
Cruise Control
AM/FM Stereo
Cassette
Multi Compact Disc
Bose Premium Sound
Dual Front Air Bags
Front Side Air Bags
ABS (4-Wheel)
Traction Control
Leather
Dual Power Seats
Moon Roof
Alloy Wheels

Consumer Rated Condition: Good
"Good" condition means that the vehicle is free of any major defects. This vehicle has a clean title history , the paint, body and interior have only minor (if any) blemishes, and there are no major mechanical problems. There should be little or no rust on this vehicle. The tires match and have substantial tread wear left. A "good" vehicle will need some reconditioning to be sold at retail. Most consumer owned vehicles fall into this category.

Private Party Value Search Local Listings for This Car $22,145
Private Party Value is what a buyer can expect to pay when buying a used car from a private party. The Private Party Value assumes the vehicle is sold "As Is" and carries no warranty (other than the continuing factory warranty). The final sale price may vary depending on the vehicle's actual condition and local market conditions. This value may also be used to derive Fair Market Value for insurance and vehicle donation purposes.

Thats a hell of a steal. Make sure you check all service records if he has them. Also did you run a Carfax on the VIN?
