'03 Coin Tray!?!?
As you my know I had a '01 PDG CL-S, I also had my fair share of lost coins behind stereo. Today as I was cleaning my interior, I noticed that the tray is different. The '01 had a little lip that was supposed to keep things in it when closed in a vert position. The '03 seems to have a large spring loaded flap that keeps everything inside when closed. This my have been posted already and I missed it, but I just noticed now. Maybe you '01-'02 owners should go to the parts dept. and pick one up. After this discovery, I dumped an assload of coins in there and no problem!
Hope this helps!

Maybe I'm ignorant, but is there a way to put the coins in nice and neat? I know there are grooves on the bottom of the coin tray, but never thought about how coins should sit in it. Or do you just throw any loose change into it?

It dosent really matter how you put it in. If you hit a bump on the older model it will bounce out and into the back of the stereo. If you have a hard time opening or closeing you tray, you probably have coins in it. If you bash it around they might fall out the back or side.
