New owner with a new owner sort of question.

I'm feeling rather silly as I have installed an aftermarket head unit and thought there was a factory sub based on this thread (for the TL) https://acurazine.com/forums/audio-v...-03-tl-326253/

Does the CL in fact have a factory subwoofer? I cannot find a Bose EQ above the factory stereo and I have also pulled the rear seats out and cannot find a subwoofer.

There is no subwoofer in the CL. Subwoofer was only offered for the TL. The CL came with tweeters.

LOL. I guess I wasted a few hours hunting (and removed the entire rear seats).

The thing that confuses me is there is a Bose amp in the parts diagram


What does that power?

Your welcome. The amp does power up all speakers in the car. Our car for whatever reason doesn't come with a subwoofer. I removed the stock radio and installed a touchscreen pioneer. The stock amp gets bypassed when using a new head unit. They stock speakers sound much better with an aftermarket head unit.

Considering to install an aftermarket receiver on my 03 cl s (w/nav), will the navigation still work? I know when the power is cut off a code is needed.
Any input?
