'03 CL-S 6MT vs. '05 WRX Chipped, Stage 2
A friend of mine last night was following me home and she has an '05 WRX (not an STi) that's stage 2, exhaust, clutch, chipped, etc. The car is fast as hell I have driven it plenty of times. We raced from 30-120 MPH and then from about 60-100 MPH and both times the CL-S came out on top. It was hard to say by how much but easily by 1-2 car lengths each time. I wasn't really paying attention to how far behind me she was, lol.

I've beaten her WRX tons of times in the past, always keeps up nicely, but still AWD off a roll = horrible. I raced it when it was stock twice with my old 5-speed IS300 and beat it both times.

The stock WRX turbo doesn't make power all the way through the powerband making it horrible on the freeway. In a way it stops producing HP at high RPMs.
But good kill, i've raced 3 WRXs in my TL-S and i've walked them everytime. 2 of them were the new models. Prob had exhaust at the most.
