'03 CL Driver's Side Air Vent

Can anyone tell me if their driver's side A/C vent is loose going up and down? Well, at least is it more loose than the vent in the center? Mine seems to always end up pointing in the up (or at least the furthest up it will go) whenever I get into the car. I always set it about midway, but maybe after I slam the door, it gets jerked back into the high position. Just a little annoying 'cause I like the wind to blow at me but I have to end up fidgeting with it each time I go somewhere.

Yup! This same thing was annoying me last week. I'd adjust the vent down and it would eventually be tilted up again.

My vents stay right where I put them. No problems here.

Yep, mine has been doing that since june of 2000. Does not happen every time, can't detect a pattern other than perhaps when the interior is hot, and that's every day in Dallas right now..
