On a stretch of I-75/I-16 between Atlanta and Savannah I came upon a Deville (the newer ones with LED taillights, etc) that started toying with me. We were running about 65, and he was riding side by side. He and I gunned it at the same time, and the TL easily pulled a car length instantly... but briefly. As my speed reached 95, the Deville's big 300hp V8 was just beginning to open up and he was starting to slowly catch up. I released the pedal about 100 (as fast as my TL has ever been!) and he continued to plow ahead. I always thought the V8 powered Devilles were pretty fast? Granted he was going to leave me past 100, but from 65-80 the TL was able to pull away.
