It was a cold winter night, you could see the frost accumulating on the cars as you passed them by on the side of busy residential streets. You can see the breathe of four bums huddling around a steel drum warming their hands with the flicker of a dying flame. I take the cloverleaf exit onto 376 outside of the sprawling Pittsburgh suburbs.

Its that time of the night when the twinkle from the stars and the beams from the moonlight hit the ashpalt causing it to look as if it was slicked with a thin coat of ice. As I am merging, I see a sleek quarter colored Mustang approaching my merge lane as if he was spat out of Hades with a one way ticket to middle earth.

I lightly depress the bulky accelerator of the CL-S and my car comes to life like Godzilla invading Japan. The mustang didn't acknowledge my tempting offer to accept a race on a packed highway on Christmas Eve.

What a smart guy that Mustang was... I wish some people on this site would learn that.....

 

Firstly, I do agree with your statement and I'm glad he chose not to risk anyone's life especially on Christmas Eve. There's also no reason to have that race as he's got more power and a TON more torque it wouldn't have even been worth it.

Anyway, I hope you all have a merry X-mas, drive safe and be careful with the drunk drivers
