My bud up the street from me has a silver 360 Spider and a black 550 Maranello. He drove me around in the 550 and , that engine has torque up the ass!

There's a Ferrari event in Capitol Hill (Seattle) this weekend (Sunday) if anyone is interested. Supposed to be about 60 private cars coming to the event. My friend won't take either of his cars 'cause he's afraid someone will touch them.

360 Modena runs high 12's stock. 3.6L V8 rated at 400 hp, but low torque (can't remember the number). But then again, Ferrari's aren't the torque-monsters like American muscle cars are. Their engines are about high revs in harmony producing the perfect mechanical sound. Have you heard a Ferrari engine wailing at near redline? There's no word to describe it.

^ i have to agree, there is NO better sounding v8 than a ferrari motor at 8k+rpm (or whatever they redline at). it is freaking ridiculous.
